As you are aware, at Beautyvell, we have been supporting the track and trace system since we reopened on 13th July and, in accordance with the latest Government Guidelines, this must now be done via a QR code which will available from Thursday 24th September 2020.

Please can I ask you to download the NHS COVID-19 app, which will be made available from Thursday 24 September 2020, although Hillingdon County Council have said there may be some teething problems and it may not be working properly until Friday 25 September, you will, however, need to scan this on entering our premises.

This app will be used, alongside traditional contact tracing, to notify users if they come into contact with someone who later tests positive for coronavirus.

The app allows people to report symptoms, order a coronavirus test and check into venues all by scanning a QR code whilst helping the NHS trace individuals that may have coronavirus.

Please rest assured, the app does this while protecting user’s anonymity.  Nobody, including the Government, will know who or where a particular user is.

Please also note, those of you who do not own a smartphone can continue to track and trace via our system.

We very much look forward to seeing you soon.

Ali and the team at Beautyvell.
